As of 2020-11-01, Polish Register of Shipping will change the rules for issuing full-term documents by PRS field surveyors. In place of temporary/provisional documents valid up to 5 months, full-term documents will be issued valid until the nearest renewal survey.
New rules will cover sea-going and small sea-going ships but will not cover remain vessels supervised by PRS (i.e. inland waterways vessels, yachts and boats) for which the rules will remain unchanged.
Moreover, after the surveys for PRS class assignment and surveys for change of Flag, PRS field surveyors will continue to issue temporary/provisional documents and PRS Head Office full-term documents.
