On January 26 and 27, the 4th edition of the WINDMission BSR (Baltic Sea Region) conference will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania. It is an international event where wind energy issues are discussed and is addressed primarily to companies from the Baltic Sea region. Representatives of the sector will appear there – from wind farm investors and developers, through grid operators, to providers of various services for the wind industry.
WINDMission BSR is organized in cooperation with Lithuanian Wind Power Association. Polski Rejestr Statków (Polish Register of Shipping), which is actively involved in energy transformation towards a clean environment and “green” industry, especially in the maritime area, is one of the sponsors of the event. Mr. Sławomir Bałdyga, PRS Industrial Supervision Division Director and our expert in offshore wind energy, will be representing our institution at the conference and will also be one of the speakers there.
On the day before the conference starts – January 25, 2023, a preconference workshop powered by UL Solutions and PRS, will be held. The workshop theme is „Lessons learned from other markets – risks and potential mitigation strategies in offshore project development”. We invite to the workshop in particular all entities and persons interested or involved in offshore wind farms development projects and construction, especially in Lithuania, Estonia and Poland.
