Certification of Recreational Craft
Polski Rejestr Statków S.A. is the sole Polish body notified for the
Directive 94/25/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 June 1994
on the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of
the Member States relating to recreational craft.
As a notified body, PRS participates, in defined scope, in the process of
affixing CE marking to that recreational craft or its component which complies
with the essential requirements of the Directive 94/25/EC, which has the
abbreviation RCD (Recreational Craft Directive) in the Community
publications.
Manufacturers, designers and other persons interested in certification of
recreational craft or its component are advised to contact the Yachts and Boats
Department. We shall provide any information, advice and indicate procedures
which are obligatory for affixing CE marking.
