simulated launching (as described in MSC.1/Circ.1206) shall be carried out.
MSC.1/Circ.1207recommends
early implementation of this amended regulation.

maintenance of falls used in launching shall be periodically inspected (as
described in MSC.1/Circ.1206) and renewed when necessary or at least every 5
