 PRS' recognition by the European Commission

We have the pleasure to inform that on 29th September 2006 the European Commission adopted a Decision granting Community limited recognition to Polish Register of Shipping, following the opinion of the Committee of Safe Seas and the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (COSS) on PRS compliance with criteria set out by the Council Directive 94/57/EC of 22 November 1994 (as amended) on common rules and standards for ship inspections and survey organizations.
The recognition extends to Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Malta, Lithuania,
Slovakia and Poland.
