New registries are covered by special procedures established by relevant Administration
1) Authorization granted on case-by-case basis
2) Authorization to conduct an audit in order to verify compliance with ISPS Code by checking whether the Ship Security Plan has been implemented and the security measures and procedures are in place and to issue an International Ship Security Certificate for the vessel, for the period of five (5) months

SP - SOLAS - for passenger ships
SM - SOLAS - ISM Code
M - MARPOL 73/78 - International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships
L - 1966 International Convention on Load Lines
T - 1969 International Convention on Tonnage Measurement of Ships
AFS - Convention on the Control of Harmful Anti-Fouling Systems
ISPS - International Ship and Port Security Code
